Sweet Bacon Popcorn

I saw a video on TikTok that showed someone eating bacon-infused popcorn and I thought it sounded good, but I wondered, how could I make it better? We had UFC 300 coming up that night and while it was just D & I at home, we decided we wanted to have some snacks while we watched the fights. So we took the idea and built on it to create this incredible snack that is sweet, salty, and super bacon-y!

This recipe is a breeze to make too. With just a handful of ingredients and a few easy steps, you’ll have a bowl of this mouthwatering snack ready to enjoy in no time.

What I love most about this Sweet Bacon Popcorn is its versatility. It’s perfect for cozy movie nights at home, impromptu gatherings with friends, or even as a fun addition to your next picnic spread. Trust me, it’s a crowd-pleaser!

Whip up a batch of Sweet Bacon Popcorn and get ready to experience a taste sensation like no other. I guarantee it’ll become a staple in your snack lineup.

  • 1 lbs Bacon keep the grease it makes, you'll need this
  • 1/2 Cup Popcorn Kernals
  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tsp Salt

  • Preheat the oven to 420℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Fill the baking sheet with the bacon, making sure they don't overlap, and cook for approximately 15 minutes or until it has reached the crispness you would like. For this recipe, I recommend the crispier the better.
  • Once the bacon is cooked, remove from the oven and pour the grease into a large pot on the stove. Add your popcorn kernels and let pop.
  • While the popcorn is popping, dice the bacon.
  • Once the popcorn is ready, remove from heat and transfer to a bowl. Drizzle the butter, and sprinkle the brown sugar and the salt. Toss, then top with the bacon. Enjoy!
