Roll out half the dough into a large rectangle.
Pour half the melted butter, half of the remaining sugar, and half the cinnamon onto the dough. Roll up into a log and slice to make the cinnamon buns.
Repeat with remaining half of dough, and remainder of the butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Roll up into a log, and slice to make the cinnamon buns.
Take your springform cake pans, remove the bottoms, wrap them in parchment paper, and place them back into the springforms. If you do not have springforms, grease 9" round cake pans.
Pour half the caramel topping in each springform, sprinkle half the diced apple into each springform, then arrange the rolls in the pan. Allow to rise for 30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375F while waiting for that last rise.
Cover the pans in foil and bake at 375F for 25 minutes. Remove foil, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and invert the cake pans onto large plates, serving trays, or cake pedastals. Allow to cool, they will be extremely hot.
Serve and enjoy!
